Ira is a legend in the NY title insurance industry. With over 50 years’ experience as a real estate attorney he has also been involved in the title industry since 1972. Ira served as counsel to Central Abstract Corp from 1972-1980. In 1980 he went out on his own and started North Shore Abstract, Ltd. Over the next few decades, he built North Shore Abstract, Ltd into a company of 40+ employees and closed well over 1,500 deals a year. After 28 incredibly successful years, North Shore Abstract, Ltd merged into Fidelity National Title where Ira served as Vice President and Counsel from 2008 to 2013. In 2013 Ira left Fidelity to start Core Title Services, LLC with Larry and Andrew. Ira utilizes his immense knowledge and vast experience every day as Executive Vice President and Counsel at Core Title Services, LLC.

Ira received his Bachelor of Arts from Brooklyn College in 1966 and his JD from George Washington University National Law School in 1969. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the Nassau Bar Association. Ira also taught a class on Title Insurance at Hofstra University as an adjunct professor for over 13 years.
