Philip joined Core Title Services in January 2021 from Counsel Abstract, Inc., where Philip was Vice President and General Counsel for over 26 years. His depth of experience in the title industry includes handling all aspects of title insurance from title reading to client communications and title clearance, always with the focus of guiding clients towards a successful closing. Philip’s expertise is based on having closed thousands of real estate transactions both large and small, including large commercial transactions, assemblages and development projects, as well as a multitude of residential transactions and residential and commercial condominium purchases.

Prior to his employment with Counsel Abstract, Philip spent 5 years as a real estate attorney and litigator at Rivkin Radler and Kramer, where he started work after graduating St. John’s Law School in 1988. Prior to that, Philip worked as a CPA at Deloitte Haskings & Sells (now Deloitte & Touche), after having graduated with a BA and MBA from the University of Rochester and its Simon School of Business (1983/1984 respectively).

Philip is a member of the New York State Bar Association and has been practicing law for over 32 years.
